Tyres Intl. opening Georgia warehouse/distribution center

DUBLIN, Ga. — Tyres International Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of India’s Mahansaria Tyres Pvt. Ltd., is opening a third U.S. warehouse distribution center, in Dublin, and is evaluating the market for potential additional openings.

The 75,000-sq.-ft. facility is a purpose-built, leased structure that Tyres International will use to stock the ranges of Ascenso-brand agriculture, industrial, construction and earthmover tires, Westlake-brand truck/bus and specialty trailer tires and Sunrise steel truck wheels it sells.

Marty Bezbatchenko, president of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio-based Tyres International, said the new facility will help his firm support its growing dealer network in the Southeast for the Ascenso and Westlake tire brands.

Dublin is a city of about 16,000 residents in southeast Georgia located about 120 miles west of the Port of Savannah (Ga.). The new warehouse is in an industrial park on the south side of Dublin with ready access to Interstate 16.

Tyres International’s other warehouses are in Sparks, Nev., and at its headquarters in Cuyahoga Falls.

Mahansaria Tyres acquired majority control of Tyres International in mid-2021. The company was founded in 1970 and had operated as an independent tire wholesaler for over 50 years.
