TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams received a vegetables procurement truck as a donation from a group of vegetable donors from Karnataka on Sunday.
TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy received the keys of the brand new truck worth Rs 30 lakh from the ex-MLA of Mulbagal G Manjunath and 12 other vegetable donors from Karnataka, at a special program held near the Tirumala temple on Sunday morning.
After the temple priests performed special pujas and inducted the new truck into the TTD’s existing fleet of vegetable procurement trucks, TTD EO appreciated the sincere efforts being put in by the vegetable donors from Karnataka in strengthening TTD’s efforts in providing free and quality food to the visiting devotees almost round the clock daily at Tirumala.
