On Season 13 of Shark Tank, an entrepreneur from Wellington, Florida, Alexiou Gibson, introduces The Transformation Factory. It’s a line of health products using nature’s most powerful superfood — sea moss.

The consumption of sea moss is recognized by some to help weight loss or weight control. Sea moss has iodine in it which “supports a healthy metabolism and energy levels.” It’s also known to have a “gentle laxative effect.”
The formation of The Transformation Factory is a personal one for Gibson, who weighed more than 500 lbs. when 19.
He’s been documenting his weight loss journey. With the photo below, he wrote: “18 months later and over 270 pounds lost, we’re still here.”
