Transcom Issues Commercial Supply Chain Software RFI

U.S. Transportation Command issued a request for information on commercial off-the-shelf software platforms that have the potential to support its logistics and financial functions worldwide.

Transcom said Thursday in a SAM notice it wants to determine whether a COTS transportation management system can integrate with service-level accounting and finance platforms and explore independent financial suite offerings from industry for potential use in a federal information technology environment.

Specifically, the combatant command is seeking a vendor to configure and integrate software for an authorized  cloud service provider that supports its global transportation and logistics mission.

Large and small businesses may submit input through July 2.
