The Factory on Cherry hosts The Wedding Show | Local News

Troy, Mo. – The Factory on Cherry hosted the 2022 The Wedding Show on Sunday, Feb. 27.

The Wedding Show is a wedding planning collective that services Lincoln, Warren, Pike and St. Charles County. It is comprised of various local businesses, vendors and venue owners.

“The wedding show was a huge success! It was the first time that we have hosted a wedding show in our new venue, and it was a great experience,” said The Factor on Cherry owner Shauna Rose. “So many wonderful vendors participated. Jammi Chesser with Flour Dust Delights coordinated the entire event and did a fantastic job! We look forward to hosting again next year!”

The Wedding Show began four years ago and is annually held in late February or early March.

“My goal was to fill the need for our local businesses to have an opportunity to network with our local brides/grooms or those having their weddings in our area even if they weren’t local,” explained Flour Dust Delights owner and The Wedding Show founder Jammi Chesser.

Chesser realized the opportunity and need to service the local area and the potential to work as a community of vendors.

“Once I started planning and coordinating The Wedding Show I realized I could help so many other small business owners grow their business and provide another form of marketing for them. I also started a website, www.moweddingshow.com, to help those business owners advertise their services – it’s still a work in progress when I find time,” said Chesser.

Chesser explained that local or small business vendors interested in being a vendor for The Wedding Show can visit the website and submit a Vendor Registration form to be added to the waitlist for the next show. Chesser stated that vendors can advertise on the website at any time.

“The Wedding Show held on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, went perfectly! I was honored to have the Rose family host at their new event venue – The Factory on Cherry, which was a beautiful setting and lended itself to a fun and festive atmosphere. It truly seemed like brides and vendors were happy with their time spent. I look forward to working with our repeat vendors and new ones for years to come,” Chesser said.
