Mike Levaggi is leaving his role as global procurement director at HarperCollins.
Charlotte Veaney will be taking on the role of group production and global sourcing director.
Levaggi joined HarperCollins UK as supply chain director in 2007, becoming group production director in 2012 and global procurement director in 2020. His last day will be 20th May. Veaney will take on her new role from 23rd May.
In addition to her current responsibilities in group production, Veaney will be managing the long-term strategic relationships with HarperCollins’ largest key global suppliers, planning the business’s global contract renewal programme and leading local print negotiations for Australia, India, EU and the UK. She will report jointly to Larry Nevins, executive vice-president of operations, and UK chief information officer Laura Meyer.
Nevins said: “Mike has been an invaluable part of the global sourcing initiatives at HarperCollins. His ability to collaborate with our teams globally enabled us to create manufacturing programmes that have benefited every division. We thank him for his contributions and wish him all the best for the future.”
Levaggi said: “I have loved working at HarperCollins over the years as well as having the opportunity to carry out the global role. It is now time for me to pursue my other interests. I wish everyone at HarperCollins the very best.”
Meyer added: “Charlotte is a brilliant group production director and I know will be hugely successful managing these additional global sourcing responsibilities. Charlotte has a fantastic team and they will continue to make Group Production the success that it is.”
