Supply chain issues for toy industry have improved, but prices still higher

Prices are going up in so many areas of our lives – including the toy industry.

During the holidays, supply chain issues were a big concern.

Jim Silver at “Toys, Tots, Pets and More” says that the problem has gotten better, but you should still expect to pay a little more.

“In respect to the business side, prices are going to be a little bit higher this year. You are talking about 5 or 10%,” Silver says. “Something that is $9, might go to $10, something that is $18 might go to $19.99, just because of the cost of oils and resins. The supply chain has actually gotten a lot better for a lot of companies.”
