Supply chain issues causes tamale shortage and price increase –

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – On Good Morning San Diego, KUSI’s Elizabeth Alvarez talked with Beatrice Lopez-Alferos, Owner of El Pollo Grill about how the supply chain issues are causing shortages and issues within their business.

Making food for thousands of people, the supply is not matching up with the demand. Tamales are a labor and time intensive process which is being made harder to do, with ingredients being less accessible.
