‘Supply chain declaration’ | US and European wind groups team up to reach expansion goals

Six wind groups from the US and Europe have signed a ‘supply chain declaration’ pledging to cooperate to achieve their respective ambitious 2030 offshore wind targets – 19.6GW in the Baltic Sea, 76GW in the North Sea, and 30GW in US waters.

To achieve these goals, the supply chain must overcome some bottlenecks such as the availability of skilled labour, rising costs, and declining availability of raw materials, the groups said during an event at the WindEnergy Hamburg exposition.
