Supplier opens third distribution centre

Outdoor furniture supplier Maze has opened a new distribution centre in Peterlee.

The 90,000 sqft space is the brand’s third distribution hub, and will support local communities and infrastructure.

Maze, already operating distribution centres in Haverhill and Thetford, is now furthering its ambitious growth plans by ensuring it offers nationwide distribution. Furthermore, the third warehouse gives Maze a total of 285,000 sqft of storage space, helping to minimise international delays and thus increasing the brand’s reliability.

Through the new warehouse, Maze also offers greater support to its existing trade customers.

Heavy investment has also been made into the site and area, with the warehouse providing 20 jobs. The site also benefits from the latest technological developments, including integrated systems for efficient inventory management, and full stock scanning.

The opening of the warehouse coincides with a rebrand for the business, alongside a new website, set to launch soon – as well as a series of new product innovations over the coming months.
