Strong City residents, Americus woman arrested on suspicion of drug distribution

Two Strong City residents and one from Americus were arrested by the Emporia Police Investigations Division on suspicion of drug distribution Tuesday.

Police Capt. Lisa Hayes says 28-year-old Shelby Moellenkamp and 34-year-old Christopher Johnson, both of Strong City, were arrested along with 29-year-old Ashley Ollenberger of Americus:

*Moellenkamp was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to unlawfully distribute a controlled substance
*Johnson and Ollenberger were arrested on suspicion of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and unlawful distribution using a communication facility.

The arrests followed a police investigation into marijuana sales. The alleged amounts have not been divulged.
