Special food distribution set up for July 30 at Morgan Community College – The Fort Morgan Times

Partners from the Food Coalition of Morgan County have organized a special mobile pantry food distribution at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 30 at Morgan Community College, according to a post on the Morgan County United Way Facebook page.

This special food distribution is happening to replace the monthly distribution that usually happens at the Morgan County Fairgrounds. Such distributions typically are not held in July due to the start of the Morgan County Fair and the fairgrounds being in use for the pre-fair or start of fair activities and events.

Everyone is welcome to come and get supplemental food assistance for free. This special food distribution will start at 9 a.m. at MCC and last until food supplies run out. People seeking the free food are directed to use the Eighth Avenue entrance to the MCC Campus in Fort Morgan.

The Morgan County Food Coalition includes partners from Morgan County Family Center, United Way of Morgan County, Kids At Their Best and Food Bank of the Rockies.
