Speakers Announced for Lakes Corridor Development Supply Chain Event

The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation and Iowa State University’s Center for Industrial Research and Service announce the speakers for the “Managing Your Supply Chain During Time of Chaos” event on March 22nd.

The speakers include Melissa Burant, Supply Chain Project Manager and Supplier Scouting Leader for the Center for Industrial Research and Service…Scott Grawe, Chair of the Department of Supply Chain Management in the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State…and Marc Schneider, who has over 30 years of experience in managing and supporting multi-national and local operations and professional workforces in a variety of industries.

The event will be held at the Clay County Regional Events Center. Topics will include building supply chain resiliency, an introduction to Industry 4.0, utilizing total cost of ownership, finding new suppliers, supply chain risk management, and supply chain opportunities. The event is free, and is funded by a grant through the Northwest Iowa Planning and Development Center.

Contact the Iowa Lakes Corridor to register. They are the regional economic development agency for Buena Vista, Clay Dickinson, and Emmet counties.
