Son of Bargarh cement factory’s top official abducted, Rs 10 lakh ransom demanded

Bargarh: In a shocking incident, the nine-year-old son of a top official of Bargarh cement factory has been allegedly abducted today.

According to reports, the 9-year-old son of Jamil Akhtar Khan, Chief Manager-CSR Head, ACC Bargarh Cement Plant, was kidnapped by two bike-borne miscreants. The minor boy was kidnapped while he was playing in front of his house.

The abductors have reportedly left a letter demanding a ransom amount of Rs 10 lakh from Jamil Akhtar.

While the exact reason behind the abduction is yet to be known, cops led by Bargarh Superintendent of Police (SP) have started an investigation into the matter.
