Softeon (Booth 7466) is introducing a new integrated warehouse management system (WMS) and warehouse execution system (WES). The combined solution provides visibility, orchestration and optimization of order picking and related processes, including maximizing materials handling system utilization. Uniquely, the solution also greatly benefits more manual DCs.
Softeon’s WMS and WES solutions are available as stand-alone platforms, but are now also being deployed together as a powerful Warehouse Management and Execution System. “This truly is a game changer in distribution software,” said Dan Gilmore, Softeon’s CMO, “with Softeon now delivering on the promise of the autonomous, self-running WMS.”
In stand-alone deployments, Softeon’s WES can turbocharge aging WMS without need for a full software replacement. According to Gilmore, the new joint solution is helping companies achieve double-digit improvements in productivity, reduced supervisory labor, increased throughput, improved materials handling system utilization and enhanced labor planning.
