Dairy supply chain software company Milk Moovement Inc. was unable to advance allegations that a trade secrets lawsuit from a competitor, Dairy LLC, was part of an anticompetitive scheme.
The US District Court for the Eastern District of California dismissed Milk Moovement’s sham litigation counterclaim on Thursday, finding that Dairy’s lawsuit isn’t “objectively baseless.”
The dispute between the two companies arose last December, when Dairy, which provides software services for components of the dairy supply chain, sued Milk Moovement for allegedly stealing trade secrets contained in Dairy’s proprietary software.
