Senior Procurement & SRM Partner (7997) job with The Guinness Partnership

The Guinness Partnership is one of the leading providers of affordable housing and care services in England. We build and manage homes and provide housing services for around 140,000 customers nationwide. Of our 65,000 homes, more than 70% are let at a social or affordable rent, while around 10,000 are owned or part-owned by the people who live in them.

We have a new opportunity for a Senior Procurement and SRM Partner to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. Our core office base is in London with hybrid working.

Reporting to the Group Director of Procurement, you will develop and deliver Procurement, Contract and Supplier Relationship strategies to support business and operational delivery and achieve value for money throughout Guinness. The successful candidate will also provide expert procurement support for legislation compliant tendering projects and frameworks to deliver excellent value for money.

About you

As a customer-focused organisation, we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will not only be an experienced and knowledgeable Procurement professional, you will also be able to demonstrate significant –

  • Experience of delivering large scale cost effective and compliant procurement solutions across a range of functions that deliver VFM, enable operational efficiencies and appropriately manage risk.
  • Significant experience of generating additional value through contract and supplier relationship management strategies.
  • Experience of developing and implementing procurement, contract management and supplier relationship policies.
  • Experience of identifying contract management best practice and conducting contract assurance reviews.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Proven programme and PMO management experience, including oversight of multiple concurrent programmes, ideally in a commercial environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of working within the Public Contract Regulations. • Excellent financial and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
  • MCIPS qualified and/or equivalent.
  • Project or programme management professional qualification and/or equivalent.
