Our client portfolio includes leading hospitality venues, bars and retail precincts – so not only is the work creative and fun but mostly delicious and social! Due to client growth across our communications portfolio, we are looking for a Melbourne-based, full-time Senior Account Executive to work across PR and Social Media clients and projects.
Working alongside an Account Coordinator and closely with an Account Manager and Account Director, the successful candidate will be assisting in the management and delivery of content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Google, EDM copywriting and content creation and assisting with coordinating PR and Media activity including writing media releases, managing media lists and assisting with PR events.
The role would suit someone with experience in the PR, social media and communications industry who is keen to be a part of a close-knit and experienced team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Management
- Oversee libraries of content for clients including images and copy
- Scheduling content across social media platforms
- Management of community engagement
Content Production
- Content capture of images and videos on-site at client venues
- Assist in the creation of social media assets
- Copywriting for social media posts or other digital communications
Media Relations
- Management of media databases
- Relationships with key media and influencers
- Ability to distribute and manage key media release or alert send-outs
- Assist with media and influencer hosting, plus key media events
Client Service
- Assist with management of key stakeholder relationships
- Maintain client WIP and reporting documents
- Ability to service key clients and build solid client relationships
Administration
- Coordination in bookings for client venues, liaising with content creators, journalists and social media influencers
- Assisting with client reporting
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 12 – 18 months in a similar role or looking to step up from an AE position.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and confidence in working autonomously and in a team environment
- Experience in overseeing social media channels as effective marketing tools for businesses
- Demonstrated experience in the planning and production of social media content Experience in copywriting, media outreach and engagement, media material production and distribution
- Active interest in food, lifestyle, hospitality and retail as well as a solid understanding of relevant media and social media networks
Desirable:
- Relationships with Melbourne media and influencers
- Experience with social media scheduling software and/or digital design
