Description
Supply chain attacks have been a security concern for many years; however, critical infrastructure have been targets of more organized attacks. Increased number of sophisticated attacks within the supply chain such as the SolarWinds and the RSA successful compromise, have shifted focus of these occurrences towards suppliers. For OEM’s and third-party vendors, a malware attack can have significant impacts in terms of the downtime of systems, monetary losses, and reputational damages, to name. The importance of supply chains is attributed to the fact that successful attacks may impact a large amount number of customers who make use of the affected supplier. Therefore, the cascading effects from a single attack may have a widely propagated impact.
This webinar will deliver:
• A strategic approach for the supply chain, the integration of cybersecurity, and wherein the supply chain can be most vulnerable.
• Understand the elements of a basic attack and what steps can be developed to help mitigate these risks.
Increasingly, supply teams are understanding a greater need to implement security controls and to develop technological solutions to secure utility systems. Managing the risk to our internal systems, network, and applications allows for the time and effort to identify the most logical security solutions and applicable processes.
