JOHANNESBURG – Sanral has appointed the Development Bank of Southern Africa to oversee its procurement processes moving forward.
This is to ensure the integrity and lawfulness of all tenders awarded by the entity.
This is one of the actions undertaken to correct tenders that Sanral had to cancel due to irregularities.
“The Sanral board is today pleased to announce it has concluded at the engagement process with the DBSA, which institution has agreed to act as our infrastructure procurement and delivery management support on the five strategic projects whose tenders were cancelled,” said Sanral board chairperson Themba Mhambi.
