SAN ANTONIO – The Salvation Army of San Antonio hosted a drive-thru food distribution event Wednesday.
The event at the Peacock Boys and Girls Club was expected to help between 500 and 1,000 families.
Salvation Army officials said they’ve held similar events before, but this is the first one that was open to the public.
