Röhlig Logistics welcomes new MD Dirk Schneider

Röhlig Logistics appoints Dirk Schneider as managing director for its German organisation, effective April 1. Schneider succeeds Christian Böttcher, who is leaving the company upon his personal request after nearly five years in this role.

Dirk Schneider has held various positions at Röhlig throughout his almost 17-year career, including as managing director Aircargo in Germany, managing director of Röhlig Italy and Global Air Freight Director. Schneider will continue his previous role as Global Air Freight Director on an interim basis.

Hylton Gray, CEO air freight, sea freight, contract logistics & projects at Röhlig Logistics, said: “We are delighted to have Dirk Schneider, one of our managers for many years and experienced in various fields, for the Germany position. At the same time, we would like to thank Christian Böttcher very warmly for his successful work at Röhlig, with whom he made a significant contribution to the realignment of our German organisation. We wish him all the best for the future and continued success.”
