STAMFORD, CT — RISE Brewing Co., the popular coffee wholesaler based in Stamford, is giving back by partnering with On Our Sleeves in an online charity auction.
On Our Sleeves is a nonprofit organization that aims to provide free mental health educational resources to every community in America to educate families and empower advocates.
For this campaign, RISE Brewing Co. teamed up with local Artist, 5ivefingaz, to co-design five limited-edition hoodies that will be auctioned off. All of the proceeds from the sales will provide “Kindness Kits”, developed by On Our Sleeves, to classrooms across the country.
From now through Dec. 13, the public can bid on the hoodies in increments of $13 (each kit costs $13 for a classroom).
The kits include:
- Superhero Kindness Curriculum
- Classroom poster
- 30 On Our Sleeves pencils
- 30 Kindness Cards
Raffle tickets can also be purchased for a signed copy of 5ivefingaz’s children’s book “Love More Than Ever”, plus a six-month coffee subscription to RISE.
“At RISE Brewing Co., we have spent the last two years donating cans of coffee to healthcare workers through this crisis. When we evaluated what we wanted to do for the season of giving, it was very apparent that another crisis is happening right in front of us but has never been at the forefront until now… pediatric mental health,” said Mia Perovetz, RISE Brewing Co. Brand Partnerships & Content in an email. “That is why our charity effort this year supports the On Our Sleeves movement for children’s mental health. We collaborated with our good friend Raf, with the LOVEMORETHANEVER movement to design special hoodies to be auctioned off. We hope you will join us with this cause.
