Unfortunately, as this story progresses, that initial coziness seeps out, like someone left the door open to a frigid Cleveland winter. The central plot is muddled by attempts to add dimension and depth to the bar’s loyalists. Of the four pairs who arrive for karaoke night, one pair consists of a woman who recently moved back to Cleveland and has dragged along her fiance, only to repeatedly berate him about his home of San Diego and introduce him as Bradley, despite his pleas to be called Brad. Two more pairs have lied to their friends, tricking them into coming to the bar.
