Reuters Events’ Supply Chain Execution 2022: overcoming logistics challenges

Reuters Events will host Supply Chain Execution 2022 on 1-2 June at the Marriott Marquis Chicago in the USA. The event will focus on ways to unlock logistics capacity, drive innovation and revolutionise supply chain execution.

“Global logistics networks have been stretched to breaking point due to unprecedented demand surges and supply constraints,” said a spokesperson for Reuters Events. “On the demand side, there has been record spending on consumer products, while on the supply side we have seen a myriad of Covid-19-related labour shortages.

“This tumultuous period for the industry has meant that companies of all sizes have struggled to get products into the hands of their customers. As such, it is more important for executives from across the industry to come together to share ideas and collective strategies to overcome universal logistics challenges.”

Speakers at the event include Sally Miller, chief information officer for North America at DHL Supply Chain; Dennis Mullahy, chief supply chain officer at Macy’s; Amiee Bayer-Thomas, chief supply chain officer at Ulta Beauty; Louis DeJoy, postmaster general at the US Postal Service; Jerry Mujica, vice president of America’s regional supply operations and customer support at Pfizer; Joe Beacom, chief operating officer at Landstar; and Joshua Dolan, senior vice president of pharmaceutical supply chain and enterprise logistics at Cardinal Health.
