Role Description
Reed’s is seeking a fast paced, entrepreneurial and very ambitious Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast and Caribbean markets. This individual should have substantial experience and strong relationships with distributors and national accounts. The ideal candidate will be able to build new distribution, improve volume, attain annual sales goals, manage account spending, and serve as the Southeast primary distributor network contact. The Regional Sales Manager position will report directly to the VP of Regional Sales.
Main Responsibilities:
- Beer/Spirit wholesaler management, goal planning, pricing and kick-off meetings
- Proficiently attain annual sales, profitability, and budget goals
- Develop forecasting, budgeting, and tracking account volumes, revenues, and spending
- Manage and cultivate programs by account to achieve maximum effectiveness within budgetary guidelines
- Develop opportunity strategies and tactics with retailers to expand business through new RTD product launches, increases in account sku approvals, improved merchandising and off-shelf displays with the distributors.
- Pioneer and develop new channels of business such as C-stores, liquor stores, and On-Premise.
- Conduct regular Distributor business performance reviews, promotion strategies, and off-shelf success
- Must understand, utilize, monitor and communicate IDIG/VIP results regarding performance, market trends, and competitive activity
- Work with the distributor and DSD partners to ensure impeccable retail execution of all programs
- Develop, maintain, and onboard DSD and distributor relationships
Qualifications:
- Entrepreneurial spirit and extremely self-motivated
- BS or BA degree or relevant job-related experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in beverages
- A proven track record of success in Distributor Management
- Ready-To- Drink and three tier adult beverage industry experience
- Positive, high-energy self-starter that will drive for positive results in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willingness to travel frequently
