Purple Names Supply Chain Veteran as COO

Purple has appointed supply chain veteran Eric Haynor as its COO, effective June 6, 2022. In this role, Haynor will guide future growth with efficient supply chain management and manufacturing as Purple fortifies its business through direct-to-consumer online channels, traditional retail partners, third-party online retailers and owned retail showrooms.

Haynor’s 30-year career includes his recent role as SVP of Global Industrial Supply Chain at water treatment company Ecolab, Inc. where he spent more than 17 years in roles including VP of Global Equipment Operations and Global Life Sciences, VP of Supply Chain Operations for EMEA and VP of Supply Chain Operations for Asia Pacific. In his current position, Haynor was directly responsible for North American supply chain operations in addition to end-to-end supply chain for the industrial business group.

“As we continue to advance the early stages of our turnaround journey, Eric will play a significant role in returning Purple to operational excellence, a key part of our long-range profitability plan,” said Rob DeMartini, CEO of Purple in a statement. “We are very confident in Eric’s abilities to help us mature our operational activities and unlock the underlying value of our organization.”
