WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Professors in the Krannert School of Management and College of Agriculture at Purdue University will participate in an hourlong panel discussion and Q&A about the disruptions to supply chains caused by COVID-19 and implications for consumers.
The panel begins at 11 a.m. Monday (May 18) and will be livestreamed to the Krannert Facebook page.
Panelists include:
- Ananth Iyer, the Susan Bulkeley Butler Chair in Operations Management and senior associate dean of the Krannert School, who will discuss how the supply chain has been affected by COVID-19.
- Jayson Lusk, distinguished professor and head of the Department of Agricultural Economics in the College of Agriculture, who will talk about the current food supply situation.
- Mohammad Rahman, associate professor of management at the Krannert School, who will cover how retailers need to adapt their omnichannel marketing strategies due to the crisis.
