Here at Babcock International we currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement & Supply Chain Analyst to join at a time where we are rolling out a major P&SC transformation programme.
This role with ideally be based in either Portsmouth or Bristol with the expectations of nationwide travel.
The procurement and supply chain function is currently undergoing major transformational change where it will be rolled out across individual business units consecutively.
As an analyst, you will engage with a multitude of stakeholders to understand in detail business requirements whilst also monitoring and reporting on performance and making recommendations to help drive decisions.
Further responsibilities will include:
• Develop reporting processes that support program timelines with the appropriate checks and balances in place.
• The appropriate application of systems such as Spend Analytics, SAP, IFS, SharePoint alongside others.
• Produce and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support program/function requirements.
What you must have:
We would like you to hold a relevant degree e.g. computer Science or be qualified by experience with proven examples of similar working experiences.
We would also like you to hold all or some of the following:
• Excellent Analytical skills with the ability to organise large amounts of information and simplify complex concepts to reach the intended audience.
• Technically sound using data models and segmentation techniques.
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting finding.
• Working experience of Procurement and Supply chain highly desirable.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint
