Job Role
PJ Dave Flora is beginning a new venture into the exports of fruits and vegetables from Kenya to countries globally. We are looking for an experienced individual who will manage and oversee this new venture. The new manager will be responsible for procurement of local produce including fruits, vegetables, nuts, pulses etc. thus knowledge of local farmers and suppliers is a must. Alongside procurement, the manager will be responsible for sourcing new markets and customers, thus prior knowledge of customer and the market is key. The manager will also be responsible for heading documentation, logistics certification and other day to day operations of the business.
The candidate
- The candidate must have a minimum of 4-5 years’ of experience in this field of trading fresh produce from Kenya
- Have knowledge and relation with produce suppliers and farmers
- Aware of potential customers and markets
- Experienced in handling logistics and documentation
- Able to handle customer relations and customer requirements
