We are looking for a full-time Procurement and Contract Assistant to join the Procurement Transport Team. It is a busy team responsible for the commissioning procurement and subsequent contract management of over 780 mainstream school SEND and PRU transport routes. The workload is varied and could see you supporting the public in relation to school transport or rural wheels enquires commissioning and tendering of routes preparing contract documentation raising purchase orders processing clearances for drivers & passenger assistants issuing driver clearance badges or even getting out of the office and undertaking route inspections.
Procurement Transport is part of the wider Corporate Procurement & Contract Management team so there are developmental opportunities in this busy flexible and positive team.
