Police raid cannabis factory in Coventry

A police raid was conducted at a cannabis factory in the Edgwick area of Coventry. The force has confirmed that 200 plants were removed from the property.

West Midlands Police carried out the raid on Saturday, June 25 and an eyewitness saw a number of clear bags containing cannabis plants being removed from the property. The witness was driving past when they saw at least five clear bags containing cannabis being loaded into a van.

It is believed that a property above a shop was the target of the raid. Police say that no arrests have been made at this time.
