Patent Office Affirms Awards Under $2 Billion IT Procurement

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office will proceed with a $2 billion software procurement following a review of contract awardee Halvik Inc.’s past performance, the government told the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

The agency conducted a voluntary remand to reassess Halvik’s past performance after Stratera Fulcrum Technologies LLC protested.

Halvik’s past-performance submission satisfied the requirements for the request for proposals, the government said Wednesday in a status report.

The agency will proceed with its awardees, but the voluntary comprehensive stay of their performance will remain in place until the court adjudicates the protest, the government said.
