Passenger cargo ship sank during salvage, Indonesia VIDEO – Maritime Bulletin

Passenger cargo ship SABUK NUSANTARA 46 ran aground on the coast of South Bengkulu Regency, South Sumatra southwest coast, on Sep 27. All people on board were rescued, Indonesian salvors tried to salvage the ship after sealing underwater hull breach, but shortly after she was taken off beach, on Oct 16, she developed list and sank in shallows, at 5-6 meters depth, so the wreck remains partially above water.
