Oracle updates application to help supply chain

Oracle, a leading global business software provider, recently updated its Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain and Manufacturing, or Oracle Cloud SCM, to help customers address the challenges regarding supply chain and management, said a press release.

The challenges include widespread supply disruptions, market volatility, shifting global trade patterns, and changing customer expectations.

Oracle Applications Development senior vice-president Rick Jewell said, ‘While my team is acutely aware there is no magic wand to eliminate the supply chain challenges organisations are facing, the new updates will provide crucial insights needed to create efficient and resilient supply networks. And regardless of what comes next, we’re fully committed to helping our customers and partners reimagine their supply chains to return to business growth.’

The Oracle Cloud offers a complete suite of integrated applications for Sales, Service, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing, plus Highly Automated and Secure Generation 2 Infrastructure featuring the Oracle Autonomous Database.
