In the first Janata Darshan of the Yogi Adityanath government 2.0, around 450 complaints were received on Monday with no one complaining about anomalies in wheat procurement and free ration distribution.
Minister of State Ajit Pal Singh took the applications and listened to the problems of the people. He assured them of early disposal of the cases.
Majority of the complaints were related to revenue (land disputes) and the police department.
“There was not a single complaint regarding wheat procurement and free ration distribution,” a government official said.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that as no one complained about ration distribution it showed that the public welfare schemes were running properly. He directed the officials to listen seriously to the problems of the people and get them resolved.
“Negligence in this at any level will not be tolerated,” he said.
Janata Darshan at the chief minister’s official residence started after almost six months. Minister of State Ajit Pal Singh was entrusted with the job to listen to the complaints of the people.
“All the complaints would be uploaded on the portal and they will be resolved within a month. Before that, the departments or districts concerned have been asked to submit a report in a week,” the minister said.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the roster of ministers who will hear the complaints in Janata Darshan has been prepared. Chief Minister Yogi will also be present in the Janata Darshan at regular intervals.
