Bhopal, May 15 (UNI) In a crucial decision that shall go a long way in benefitting the agrarian sphere, the Madhya Pradesh dispensation has enhanced procurement of gram, masoor and mustard to 20 quintals per hectare, it was officially learnt on Friday.
In the words of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, “My government is ceaselessly taking decisions in cultivators’ interest.”

Farmers’ Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Kamal Patel averred that bumper production of rabi crops took place this year.

Bhopal, May 15 (UNI) As the nation battles the ‘millennium scourge’, not only are roustabouts stranded in other states being brought back to Madhya Pradesh in buses and trains but also labourers hailing from elsewhere are being dropped off at the borders of their native (adjoining) states by vehicles arranged for by the dispensation and the administration in a glowing instance of a concerned political segment and a dedicated bureaucracy working in perfect synchronisation, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan underlined on Friday.
“Arrangements for food, etc are in place for our underprivileged worker brethren. For us, all the roustabouts are equal and we are taking unalloyed care of them,” the veteran leader was officially quoted as saying while reviewing the pandemic situation plus related arrangements through videoconferencing at Mantralaya.

Jammu, May 15 (UNI) Paving the way for the J&K’s dream project to see the light of the day, the Central Advisory Committee for consideration of techno-economic viability of major and medium irrigation, flood control and multipurpose project proposals has accorded approval for Modified Detailed Project Report of the Ujh Multipurpose Project at an estimated Cost Rs. 9167 Crore (December, 2019 Price Level).
