Moe’s Home Collection promotes Li to VP, supply chain

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Home furnishings wholesaler and retailer Moe’s Home Collection has promoted Joey Li to vice president of supply chain.

In this role, Li will oversee the entirety of MHC’s ocean logistics, navigating the company through these historical high tides of shipment disruptions brought on by the global pandemic.

“It’s a hard situation, and the current conditions are not expected to change within the first quarter of 2021, although myself and my team remain hopeful as we continue to adapt to these significant changes and project for further disruptions,” Li said. “But, as the demand we saw in Q3 and Q4 2020 eases out, the balance between import and export will be restored come Q2 2021.”

Pivoting his role from warehouse, operations and director of logistics and customer experience, Li will now focus his attention to the upper stream of the supply chain from origins — China, Vietnam and India — straight to point of consumption.

“Joey has now been with Moe’s for 3.5 years and during this tenure has led our warehouse and operational departments during a time of significant growth,” said Moe Samieian Jr., co-CEO of Moe’s. “We are greatly looking forward to continuously improving our areas of business with Joey’s leadership.”
