Miami Beach will soon track how small and disadvantaged businesses figure into city procurement if the city commission approves this week.
As recommended by administration and the city’s Finance and Economic Resiliency Committee, staff would compile a database of businesses certified as small or disadvantaged by Miami-Dade County and track the city’s use of these businesses.
