MEDIA RELEASE – Methamphetamine Distribution Arrest

On Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 1:14 p.m., an officer with the Pittsburg Police Department was on routine patrol when they observed an individual who was wanted for an arrest warrant in the 1700 block of N. Broadway St., in Pittsburg. The individual, 46-year-old Antoine Irving, of Pittsburg, had an active warrant for his arrest from the Pittsburg Municipal Court.

The officer approached Mr. Irving and placed him under arrest for the warrant without incident. A search of Mr. Irving pursuant to the arrest warrant resulted in the discovery of several items of contraband, including what is believed to be methamphetamine, a digital scale and a large amount of cash money.

Mr. Irving was arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail for booking, and he is being held without bond for felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Irving was also booked in on the Pittsburg Municipal Court arrest warrant and is being held on a $1,000 cash or surety bond.
