“I mean it’s just like they’re basically just cleaning up right now, it’s as if they’ve found everybody and everybody has been accounted. Which if they’ve been accounted for I would have been notified because I’ve given everybody in the world my phone number,” Johnson said. “They just keep telling me check the hospitals, hospitals say no. When I look behind me they’re doing more destruction than the storm did.”
Janine’s brother Darryl Johnson is more critical of the search effort. Brad Jones who serves as the Graves County Coroner says crews will be working for days at the site of the candle factory.
“We’ve got crews working and they will be working through the night recovering any deceased. We have front end loaders and I have coroners offices from other counties,” Jones said Saturday. “We’ve got a lot of teams, EMS, sheriffs departments and a lot of help that has come together. Hopefully we can get this taken care of and try to talk to the families and get these families some answers.”
The Johnson-Williams family hasn’t gotten any answers yet on where Janine Johnson-Williams may be.
“I don’t know what to do, I was asking them have they seen my wife and none of them could respond hardly,” said Williams.
The search continued Sunday for Janine and nearly 40 unaccounted people from the Mayfield Consumer Products candle factory. His Hope Ministries says they will continue to get families answers of missing love ones. Families can resume coming to the 1250 state route 303 location Sunday at 2 p.m.
