Butcher explains the keys to succeeding visually in a text-heavy industry:

  • Figure out how to take words into physical form.
  • Understand different organizations’ technology rules or limitations to make sure your images are getting through.
  • Use creative space to build systems that guarantee you are spending time in a high-leverage way and “solving unique problems.”
