According to the official, as many as five firemen were dispatched right away after receiving a report at 2.10 a.m. about a fire that had broken out in a plastic dana factory at A 69, close to the Haiderpur Metro station in northern Delhi.

18 additional fire tenders were progressively sent to the area after knowing the blaze was large.
“The firefighting operation is currently underway and 23 fire engines are present on the spot dousing the flames,” said Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fire Service.

Notably, a robotic device was used by the Delhi Fire Service to spray water on the fire. Recently, in May, the machine was officially introduced. The robot is controlled by a wireless remote and has water pipes. When it gets to the scene of the fire, it may also remove the smoke using its ventilation system
