Massive explosion at Baruipur fireworks factory creates panic among locals

Baruipur was shaken by a massive explosion in the middle of the night. Panic spread in the area due to the explosion in the fireworks factory. The impact of the explosion was huge enough to take the asbestos roof top off. The locals tried to extinguish the fire as it engulfed the factory.

According to reports, a massive explosion took place at a fireworks factory in the Haral area of Champahati in Baruipur at midnight on Sunday (September 27). During the night, the residents of the area rushed to the spot after hearing the sudden big noise.

The locals saw that the asbestos rooftop had been blown off due to the explosion. It even crumbled the tin roofs around. The locals took the initiative to extinguish the fire so that the fire would not spread to the surrounding areas.

Neighbours claim that illegal fireworks were made at the factory. There are many more illegal fireworks factories in the area. The fire at the factory on Sunday caused panic in the area. Baruipur police have started investigating the incident. They are investigating whether there was a legal permit in the firework factory.
