Louisiana Elmer chocolate heavenly hash supply chain

Leaders with Elmer Chocolate said they are having a tough time keeping up with demand.Elmer Chocolate CEO Rob Nelson had to limit how many Heavenly Hash eggs they could make this year. The problem was getting cornstarch. They also ran into issues with their pecan supply so that’s impacted their famous pecan eggs that come in the yellow pack. Nelson said he’s received hundreds of calls from those with a sweet tooth who cannot find their favorite sweet treat. He said the items are in major retailers but they go quickly. The Pontchatoula-based candymaker has been producing candy since 1855. Their items are staples in many Easter baskets across Louisiana.
