A new candle brand from fragrance manufacturer Grace Management Group is looking to give consumers a new, more sustainable way to burn candles with its Notes line of candles and its patented candle refilling system.

“As we considered the millions of single use candle containers that find their way into our landfills each year, we realized there’s a more responsible way to manufacture and enjoy candles,” explained Grace Management Group’s President Bob Caldwell, Jr. “Our candle refill system makes it easy for consumers to reuse a Notes glass again and again. We’re excited to introduce independent retailers and consumers to the new way to candle.”

The refill process for Notes candles is simple. Users start by purchasing a Notes Starter Glass and Candle Refill Kit in the fragrance of their choice. The Candle Refill Kit includes a cotton wick and a pre-portioned amount of fragranced wax beads to fill the Starter Glass. Using the refill kit and following the included instructions, users simply add a wick, fill the glass with beads and burn.

Once those wax beads and wick burn down, users repeat that same process. The Notes Starter Glass can be refilled using the same steps with the purchase of an additional Candle Refill Kit. Cleanout of the previous wax and wick are made simple with the silicone cleanout insert, included with the Notes Starter Glass, which allows users to pull the remaining wax and wick out easily.

Notes wax beads are made with a 100% natural wax blend of soy, rice bran and beeswax with non-toxic fragrance. The line will initially launch with six room-filling fragrances.

“We’ll be the first to admit we don’t have it all figured out when it comes to sustainability,” added Caldwell. “We’re still learning. While we believe the Notes Candle Refill System is a big step in the right direction, we’re confident we’ll be further along on our journey to operate more sustainably 10 years from now than we are today.”

Spartanburg, S.C.-based Grace Management Group is partnering with wholesale sales and marketing company OneCoast to market and sell the Notes brand to independent retailers nationwide. Notes will be featured in the OneCoast showrooms this summer starting in Dallas at Showroom 256. Later, Notes will be featured in the wholesaler’s Americasmart Atlanta space, in Showroom 1800 of Building 2, and Las Vegas Market, in Showroom 801 of Building C.

Pre-orders for the brand began May 18 and product will begin shipping in August 2022.
