Chief Master Sgt. Lloyd E. Morales serves as command chief master sergeant of the 88th Air Base Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. As the senior enlisted leader, he provides advice and counsel on issues affecting 5,500 officers, civilians and enlisted members. The wing provides support and services to one of the largest and most organizationally complex bases in the Air Force, including a major acquisition center, research and development laboratories, a major command headquarters, airlift wing and the world’s largest military air museum. Home to more than 30,000 employees, the base is the largest single-site employer in Ohio. The chief primarily focuses on readiness, professional development, and welfare issues of assigned Airmen and their families.


Morales entered the Air Force in December 1998 as a materiel management technician. He has served in numerous areas in the career field, as well as special senior noncommissioned officer leadership positions. His assignments include bases in Georgia, South Korea, United Kingdom, Kuwait, Oklahoma, Utah, Hawaii and Florida. During his tenure, he has directly supported operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Horn of Africa, Iraqi Freedom, New Dawn and Noble Eagle.


Prior to his current position, Morales was senior enlisted leader for the 635th Supply Chain Operations Group at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
