Live coronavirus updates: More events shut down due to Covid-19 fears

More events have been cancelled or postponed due to Covid-19 concerns, including Polyfest, all Relay For Life events and the Auckland Writers Festival.

Polyfest, which attracts about 110,000 people, was due to take place this week, but will now not go ahead. The Cancer Society has postponed all Relay for Life events until 6 April, and the Auckland Writers festival, due to run in May, has been cancelled.
