The family-run company produces a range of Mochi and Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites and has seen growth in recent years.

The London factory will increase production four-fold to meet demand from trade customers and retailers globally, creating 150 jobs.
“Our expansion reflects the increasing demand for mochi’s from both retailers and trade and will enable us to accelerate innovation which is super exciting,” said Howard Wong, co-founder, Little Moons.
Little Moons mochi bites are made by wrapping bite-sized balls of gelato ice cream in a layer of soft mochi dough. Mochi is from Japan and is a rice flour dough that has been steamed and pounded to give it its soft and chewy texture.
“When you start a food business the first thing people tell you is to outsource production. We didn’t and it was a great decision as we have full control over the innovation process, quality control and flexibility,” said Vivien Wong, co-founder, Little Moons.

Little Moons are gluten free and free from artificial flavourings, colours and preservatives and are suitable for vegetarians.
There are 12 flavours including; Himalayan Salted Caramel, Vegan Belgian Chocolate, Sumatran Coconut, Alphonso Mango, Uji Matcha Green Tea, Summer Strawberries and Cream, Madagascan Vanilla, Honey Roasted Pistachio, Vegan Tropical Passionfruit and Mango, Yuzu Lemon, Summer Raspberry and Italian Roasted Hazlenut.
Little Moons Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites come in two flavours, Choc Chip and Triple Choc.
