To the Times:
In my beloved home state of Pennsylvania, the vaccine distribution process has been erratic, uneven, unfair and totally unacceptable. How does it make even an iota of sense to let the process unfold on a county-by-county basis with seemingly little to no coordination from the state to assure a fair and equitable distribution plan? Gov. Wolf, your presence in this process is virtually invisible.
Why is it that people in my home county, Delaware County, are subjugated to the will of neighboring Chester County, simply because Chester County has a local public health agency and infrastructure and we do not? It is hard to know the actual facts, but, there have been many rumors that Chester County has favored their own residents and constituents at the expense of us in Delaware County. Whether this is fact or just rumor, it is destructive. We are all Pennsylvanians with equal rights and privileges under the law.
Although I voted for you twice, Mr. Governor, and I am a lifelong Democrat, I am deeply disappointed in your lack of leadership. Tom Wolf, it is time for you to step-up and seize the moment; you are failing us in this crisis.
